Fast setup and connection testing
Space Pilot 3.42.88 requires Google Chrome 120+ and active access to Chat-Space.
Verify the installation
Use only the installation method approved by the rights holder. If your organization has configured deployment through Chrome policies, confirm its status with your IT administrator. Do not install an unknown ZIP file or share the production package with other users.
Accept the disclosure
Until the data notice is accepted, the extension does not read workspace context or run standard generation. Review the policy and confirm it in the popup.
Connect your services
Check Chat-Space status, save the required API keys, and use the built-in connection test for each provider. The extension does not store your Chat-Space password.
Symptom-based troubleshooting
The Generate button did not appear
Refresh the Chat-Space tab, open a supported Chat or Mail composer, and verify Chrome 120+, extension status, and disclosure acceptance. If your organization installed the extension, ask your IT administrator to check the selected deployment method.
An AI connection error appeared
Open the popup, test the required key with its dedicated button, and check the provider's balance and limits. After a 429 response, wait for the indicated cooldown to end instead of launching repeated requests.
The draft was not inserted
This may be a safeguard: the client changed during generation, the composer was edited manually, the route became stale, or a safety check stopped the result. Return to the correct conversation, preserve any manual text, and run Generate again.
History or profile data appears outdated
Use Retry in the relevant section or clear only the dialogue cache. Clear All Data also removes credentials and local keys, so use a full clear only when it is genuinely necessary.
Website form submissions are not arriving
Verify the email under Appearance → Customize → Space Pilot: Contacts. Most hosting environments require an SMTP plugin or domain mail service for reliable delivery.
Describe the issue and workflow
Include your Chrome version, Space Pilot version, Chat or Mail surface, and the exact error message. Do not send passwords, API keys, or private client conversations.
